Minneapolis Based Company, Meteor Base Productions, Evolves From Production Company to Record Label for Up and Coming Musicians

Minneapolis, MN: Meteor Base Productions, a music production company based in Minneapolis, is excited to announce their transformation from production company to record label. For the last 2 years, MBP has operated as a production company. This has entailed working with artists non-exclusively, setting up shows and events, and producing records of all styles. Now, in addition to the former, MBP is taking the step to represent artists via management, development, and even booking shows.
On the company’s recent change, owner of Meteor Base Jacob “Pelham” Jones said, “This just seemed like the obvious next step. Inviting artists to the studio, we’d get to talking, I’d help them reach out to venues while producing their record, and give them direction on their careers and long term goals. With this change, we are still working with any artist that needs us, but with the artists on our roster we will be going the extra mile.”
In the two years since its inception, Meteor Base Productions has worked with over 20 local artists, multiple artists throughout the midwest, released a dozen records, hosted open mics, organized monthly showcases, multiple album release shows, and put on a charity event which raised over $2,500 for a local nonprofit.
Currently, Meteor Base is continuing to work with new artists, hosting a new monthly open mic, working with BIÜ ent. in St Paul, and LÜM in Madison WI and have even more on the way. Come hang out and meet the Meteor Base team every last Wednesday of the month at Inbound BrewCo for our open mic night.
